Creating a single design language that could scale across three very different speaker formats.
The 7-inch tower, 12-inch tower, and compact Dot speaker needed to feel unmistakably part of the same family while responding to very different proportions and internal volumes. Shared materials, controls, illuminated feedback, and a common silhouette were used to create consistency without simply scaling the same object up and down.
A cohesive smart-speaker family built around a recognizable form and shared interaction language.
The resulting designs established a consistent visual identity across the speaker range while supporting hands-free voice interaction, omnidirectional audio, and connected-home functionality. The Alexa speaker line was unveiled by Vivitar at CES.
