The speaker needed a design language distinct from the rest of the Altec Lansing lineup, while preserving the brand's rugged identity. We had to translate that toughness into a smoother, more organic form without losing what made the original recognizable.
Design exploration moved fast: rapid concepting, quick renders to validate directions, then advanced CAD to deliver production-ready surfaces the factory could work from.
The result is a speaker that's bold, durable, and unmistakably Altec Lansing, built to survive sand, water and drops without looking like it's trying too hard.
